Heather Graham

Heather is the program and grants manager at the Fund. She works across programs to oversee the day-to-day program and grantmaking operations, including grantmaking procedures, grant processing and budgeting, docket editing and preparation, staff training, and grantmaking analysis.

Heather has over twenty years experience in the nonprofit sector. Prior to joining the Fund she served as Executive Director of the Foundation for the People of Burma, a public charity that supports and implements education and health programs for people in Burma (aka Myanmar) and for refugees in Thailand and India. She has also volunteered overseas for the Refugee Reception Centre in Kathmandu, run by the Government of Tibet in Exile,

Previously she held several positions at the James Irvine Foundation, including Program Assistant in the Youth, Health and Community Economic Development programs; Program Associate in Health; Assistant Director of Administration and Grants Manager.

Heather has a B.A. in International Studies from Macalester College.
